Terms of Service

Effective date: April 1, 2025

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Voicle platform, including all voice agents, testing tools, APIs, and related services (collectively the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.


1. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at the support address if you suspect unauthorised access.

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into contracts in your jurisdiction to use the Service.

2. Credit-Based Billing

Voicle operates on a prepaid credit model. All usage of the Service is deducted from your credit balance in real time.

  • Credits purchased ("top-up") may be used for any eligible Service feature, including live VoIP calls and in-browser test sessions.
  • Pricing is calculated on a pay-per-use basis — per minute of call time, per STT/LLM/TTS token consumed, or per session, as published on the pricing page.
  • You can view your remaining balance at any time in the navigation bar and in the Billing portal.

3. No Refunds on Credits

All credit purchases are final and non-refundable. Once a top-up payment is processed, the credits are added to your account balance and cannot be cancelled, reversed, or exchanged for cash under any circumstances.

We encourage you to start with a smaller top-up to evaluate the Service. The $5 free credit on signup is provided to help you do this at no cost.

4. Service Suspension on Zero Balance

If your credit balance reaches zero or goes negative:

  • All active VoIP deployments will stop accepting new calls.
  • In-browser test sessions cannot be started.
  • Existing project configurations, recordings, and data are retained and remain accessible in the dashboard.
  • Service resumes automatically as soon as a top-up is added to your account.

We are not liable for missed calls, lost business, or service interruption arising from an exhausted credit balance.

5. Subscription Plans

Voicle may offer optional subscription plans that include recurring charges for platform access, higher usage limits, or additional features.

  • If you cancel a subscription, the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
  • If a charge is processed after you have validly cancelled due to a billing system error, you are entitled to a full refund of that erroneous charge within 14 days of the charge.
  • Cancelling a subscription does not affect your prepaid credit balance.

6. Configuration and Training Services

Voicle offers optional professional services including agent configuration assistance, system integration support, and training sessions ("Professional Services").

  • Consultation time directly related to configuring or training your voice agent within the platform is provided at no additional charge as part of a Professional Services engagement.
  • General business consulting or custom software development outside the Voicle platform may be quoted separately.
  • Professional Services engagements are governed by a separate Statement of Work agreed upon in writing before work begins.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Make unsolicited or spam calls to individuals who have not consented to receive them.
  • Impersonate individuals, organisations, or emergency services in a deceptive or harmful way.
  • Collect sensitive personal data (payment card numbers, government IDs, passwords) via voice without adequate legal basis.
  • Violate any applicable telemarketing, TCPA, GDPR, or equivalent regulation in your jurisdiction.
  • Interfere with or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform infrastructure.
  • Resell or sublicense the Service without prior written authorisation from Voicle.

Voicle reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these provisions without prior notice.

8. Data and Privacy

Call transcripts, audio recordings, and usage data are stored and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the Service you consent to this processing.

  • You are responsible for obtaining any required consent from callers before recording calls.
  • Voicle does not sell your data or call content to third parties.
  • You may export or delete your recordings at any time from the project dashboard.

9. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content you create — system prompts, tool code, data files, and recordings. You grant Voicle a limited licence to process and store this content solely to provide the Service.

The Voicle platform, branding, software, and documentation are the intellectual property of Voicle and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without written permission.

10. Availability and Uptime

Voicle targets 99.9% monthly uptime for the core calling infrastructure, excluding scheduled maintenance windows announced in advance. Credit will not be deducted during verified platform-side outages.

We are not responsible for outages caused by third-party providers (Telnyx, Twilio, cloud infrastructure, AI model providers) or events outside our reasonable control.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Voicle's total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to Voicle in the 90 days preceding the claim.
  • Voicle is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost revenue or missed business opportunities.
  • Voicle is not liable for the content, accuracy, or outcomes of conversations handled by AI agents built on the platform.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Voicle, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claim, loss, or damage (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, violation of any third-party rights, or regulatory non-compliance.

13. Modifications to Terms

Voicle may update these Terms from time to time. When material changes are made we will notify you via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Termination

You may close your account at any time from the Profile page. Closing your account does not entitle you to a refund of any remaining credit balance.

Voicle may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Voicle is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
